Verify Strapping
1. Verify that all common or vertical seams are strapped appropriately inside and out.
2. Ensure that all openings are properly braced, strapped, and bucked.
3. Ensure that all beam pockets, weld plates, floor system hangers, penetrations, or knockouts are in place and strapped.
4. Make sure all strapping is in place across seams or potential problem areas such as openings, near corners or vertical joints closer than 8” in the wall.
