Verify Bracing and Alignment System Placement
1. Ensure that the wall is adequately braced, especially all corners.
2. Double check foot brackets and stakes, add additional stakes if necessary.
3. Make sure the adjustment on all bracing works.
4. Make sure all screws attaching bracing to the wall are at the top of the slot and just snug enough to allow a small amount of settling during the pour.
5. Check the wall for level and plumb. If in a basement, walls may be very slightly adjusted to the inside. This makes it easier to push a wall out during alignment.
a. Alignment must be done every lift.
b. Corners should always be kept plumb.
6. Install a string line for straightening the wall after the pour.
